ABOUT EASTERN SIERRA CREEKS

In this article I will cover what I feel are the some best eastern Sierra creeks based on both ease of access, consistent water flow, and proliferation of fish.   All of the creeks are in the northern half of the Sierras which is roughly from around Bishop, California to near Lake Tahoe California.   The creeks along this section consist of waters that are generally freestone though several have slow sections and in some cases such as Hot Creek are very spring creek like.
